I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY MODEM YET
If you recently ordered CenturyLink and are wondering when the modem will arrive, it depends on the type of installation you chose.
There are 2 types of installations you could have chosen.
.
"Self install" or "professional install"
SELF INSTALL (do it yourself)
If you ordered a "self install", the modem will be shipped to your home via UPS. It will arrive by the end of the day of the date of installation. The package does not require a signature. If you live in an apartment, you may want to leave a note by the door giving the UPS driver instructions how or where to deliver it. Otherwise, you may need to pick up the modem at the Fargo UPS station on 12th Ave N later that evening. If you want a tracking number, you would need to contact national CenturyLink at 1-800-244-1111. Remember - your modem will not work until the technician has activated your service on the outside of the house. So it is possible you may receive the modem before the tech has arrived.
PROFESSIONAL INSTALL
If you ordered a "professional install", the technician will simply bring the modem to your home and hook it up.
