WHEN IS MY APPOINTMENT?
You can check the status of your appointment by clicking here. You will need to enter either your Order Number or your Account number. (The order number starts with N followed by digits and the account number looks like a local telephone number) You should be able to find this in your email confirmation.

DO I NEED TO BE HOME?

It depends on the type of installation you chose. There are 2 types of installations... "self install" or "professional install" 

PROFESSIONAL INSTALL (Someone needs to be home)
A "professional install" means the tech has to do work inside the house so someone would need to be home. They will bring the modem with them and hook it up for you. They would typically call soon before arriving.

SELF INSTALLATION (Do it yourself, the tech does everything outside)
A "self install" means the tech will do the work on the outside of the house and it does not typically require you to be home. The modem will be shipped UPS and it will arrive the same day as the install. Simply open the box and follow the instructions. 

The package does not require a signature. If you are in an apartment, you may want to leave a note by the door giving UPS instructions how or where to leave it. Otherwise, you may need to pick up the modem at the Fargo UPS station on 12th Ave N. If you want a tracking number, you would need to contact CenturyLink at 1-800-244-1111

If you ordered your service as a "professional install", the technician will bring the modem with to complete the order.
