PURCHASE - REPLACEMENTS - WARRANTY
As of today, we do not stock modems at our retail store. We do not exchange, return, or replace modems under warranty.
NEW CUSTOMERS
If you are setting up new internet service for the first time, we will have the technician deliver the modem to your home during the installation or we will have it shipped to your home via UPS. The cost of the modem will be placed on your bill. Your service will not be installed faster if you already have a modem or buy one elsewhere.
EXISTING CUSTOMERS
If CenturyLink technical support determines your modem is defective and under warranty, they can ship you a new one via UPS. If your modem is out of warranty, they can also sell you a new modem and place it on your CenturyLink bill.
If you do not want to wait and would like to purchase a replacement modem, please contact Best Buy. They stock CenturyLink modems that can be purchased in the store. However, they do not warranty leased modems or place them on your bill.
As a general guideline, "Leased modems" are typically always under warranty. "Purchased modems" typically have a 1 year warranty. Third party modems or used modems purchased online are not covered by a warranty.
